There's no way I could easily get away with this behavior before I lived alone:

What's the point of dirtying plates when I know I'm going to eat the whole thing?
(not in just one sitting, of course :) Drinking straight from the milk carton may follow...

I had a huge studio apartment in Downtown San Jose for about a year, M and I decided that 'separate arrangements' were needed, and I discovered the joy of eating things with spoons and no plates.
Typical Friday night fanfare involved walking to the Hispanic Market down the street, buying a cheesecake and some beer, coming home, eating it out of the tin and watching really... really... terrible movies.
It's the most amazing experience. Try it in some sloppy sweats! It gets better! ;)
Yummy! Isn't it fun to make your own rules! :) The pie looks so yummy!
Is that chocolate pie. Oh. My. Goodness.
I need chocolate pie now.
Thanks for that.
I owe you wordy email.
I'm a debtor.
I love it and I totally agree.
If you take the next step by eating while standing over the sink, you won't have to worry about cleaning up the dining table too! Ask me how I know.
Hi Thao - I'd love to ask you how you know, however there is no contact info. Hilarious!! (And I'll have to give this a go... :)
Like you said, when one lives alone, it's one step away from drinking straight from the milk carton!
For my first apartment, I could only afford a small studio. The bed got moved to the "dining area" so I could have a proper living room. Hence the need to eat near the sink to avoid spilling food over the bed. Suppose I could have dined on the couch but they were uncomfortable as heck!
Btw, I will see you in a few weeks along with Crafty Pancakes when you visit our LYS. Can't.Hardly.Wait.

Love the mitts! I do hope you bought the sweatshirt!
